About Us

The Students' Association of Grande Prairie Regional College is a Not for Profit organization comprised of three elected executive members, staff members, and volunteers. They report directly to the Students' Council. The Students' Association ensures the voice of the students is heard at all levels of government.

OUR VISION

Through the promotion of student success we believe in a system accessible to all, where all students are equal and empowered to shape their educational futures. 

The Student Council is the governing body for the Students' Association. This group of elected students helps make strategic plans and decisions. The Executive Council helps to carry out the vision of the Students' Council as well as govern the Students' Association from May - October. 

The Executive Council positions are: 
-President
-VP Internal 
-VP External

Serving with the Executive Council are the permanent team members: 
-Executive Director
-Director of Communications

These staff members provide mentorship to the Executive team. They give advice and use their own experience to problem solve and plan for the future.
